My name is Robbie Car and I break a lot of boards, man. In the past month, I broke at least eight boards. It becomes this mental block for you. I started skating to where I was doing tricks I knew I wouldn't break my board. You start to lose tricks. You start to lose confidence. My friends always mentioned that "you ought to try one of these VX boards". I was always kind of like, "No, man. I feel like it's just a gimmick board", but I just have so much board breaking fatigue that I was like, all right, let's just go for it. Holds up. It's got that slight flex, but not that flex where you're like, "Oh my gosh, I'm going to break this board.". With skating this VX, I'm not scared now to warm up skating flat ground. I'm not going to have that fear in the back of my mind that this board's going to the grave on this try. VX Power!
